Crohn’s Disease

Crohn’s disease is a type of inflammatory bowel disease. Crohn's disease is a form of intestinal inflammatory disease (IBD). It causes the digestive tract to become inflamed, which can lead to stomach pain, extreme diarrhea, tiredness, weight loss, and malnutrition. Inflammation caused by Crohn's disease may affect numerous areas of the digestive tract in various individuals. This inflammation also extends through the bowel's deeper layers. Crohn's disease can be both unpleasant and crippling and can cause life-threatening complications at times.
